Toyota releases new TVC for Innova Crysta Limited Edition [Video]

Toyota Kirloskar Motor has released a new TVC for the Innova Crysts’s Limited Edition variant. The Limited Edition variant was launched back in October and it is based on the GX trim but gets more features and equipment. The petrol variant has been priced at Rs. 17.18 lakhs ex-showroom whereas the diesel variant costs Rs. 18.99 lakhs ex-showroom. Below, is the new TVC that Toyota shared on YouTube.

The video shows two features of the Limited Edition Innova Crysta. It shows the new air ionizer and airbags. Considering that air pollution is continuously increasing, many people have started buying air ionizers and with the Limited Edition of Innova Crysta, you get it from the factory.

Air Ionizer

Another feature that Toyota added to the new variant is a 360-degree parking camera which will help the driver in parking the MPV in tight spaces more easily. It basically provides a top-down view of the vehicle and Toyota calls it a multi-terrain monitor. Toyota is now also offering a wireless charger to second-row occupants and there is also ambient lighting that adds to the premium feel of the cabin.

There is also a heads-up display that comes with the Innova. It basically projects vital information like time and speed on the windshield. Because of this, the driver does not have to look at the instrument console and remove his eyes off the road.

Heads-up Display

A tyre pressure monitoring system has been added that shows real-time tyre pressure to the driver. This can come in handy as it would alert the driver if the tyre pressure starts falling and the driver would get to know that there is a puncture.

The rest of the equipment level stays the same as the GX variant. So, it comes with manual air conditioning with heater, Anti-lock braking system with Brake Assist, Vehicle Stability Control, Hill Start Assist, rear parking sensors, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, electric folding outside rearview mirrors, dual airbags, multi-information display, a knee airbag, multi-function steering wheel and 12V charging sockets. Moreover, you also get an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

Wireless Charger

Toyota is offering the Innova Crysta Limited Edition as a 7 and 8 seater. The 7 seater variant gets two captain seats in the middle row whereas the 8 seater version gets a bench seat. You can get the Limited Edition with a petrol engine as well as a diesel engine.

Ambient Lighting

The petrol engine is a 2.7-litre unit that produces 166 PS of max power and 245 Nm of peak torque. The 2.4-litre diesel engine produces 150 PS of max power and 343 Nm of peak torque. Both the engines come mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox or a 6-speed 6-speed torque converter automatic transmission.

The prices of the Innova Crysta starts at Rs. 17.18 lakhs ex-showroom and goes up to Rs. 24.99 lakhs ex-showroom. It does not have any direct rival but it competes against the Mahindra Marazzo and the Kia Carnival. The upcoming Kia Carens can also become a rival to the Innova Crysta.
