I made a sudden program with bunch of four friends and started out Road trip from jaipur on 23 jan at around 5pm after travelling around 600 kms we stopped at Shimla early morning and took rest in my most comfortable ford for two hrs then started again and reached reckong peo! We all are so comfortable in the car that outside temp is just a number for us but at reckong peo cool breezes at -11 degree is so shivering! Also we enjoyed a lot while travelling the beautiful nature is so mesmerising..almost complete reckong peo is closed and only 2-3 home stays are open …but there is no water just a bucket they are giving per room,night was so cold there that we thought not to go fwd but in the morning the view was like heaven we can’t stop us moving towards kaza next day while travelling in endeavour we were enjoying the mountains views the white spiti valley when we reached nako it was around 5-6pm so we decided to take a stop and what we feel outside the car ..OMG it’s was so cold we all were unable to breath! it was -24 …we managed to spend the night in the kitchen of home stay because the tandoor was little bit helpful in keeping warm…next morning we didn’t go to kaza we returned back to Shimla stayed there and then next day back to home jaipur!!!! In this journey ford Endeavour was a beast that there is no issue of starting in so cold…we all were so comfortable as sitting in our room….all of us are motorsports enthusiasts so there was no driving issue with anyone of us…that was a memorable journey of my (JD gang)
