TVS launched its flagship scooter, the NTORQ a few days back. The new scooter takes on the likes of Honda Grazia in the market and is priced at Rs. 58,750. We recently rode the scooter and here is a detailed picture gallery.
The NTORQ is powered by an all-new 125cc, single cylinder engine that generates a maximum of 9.4 PS of peak power at 7,500 rpm and 10.5 Nm of peak torque at 5,500 rpm.
The scooter is quite lightweight. 116 kg and is very agile. It changes direction quickly and is fun to ride.
It rides on 12-inch alloy wheels. Both the wheels are of the same size.
TVS claims that it is the quickest scooter in the segment and can do 0-60 km/h in just 9 seconds.
It looks quite sharp and gets an angled rear-end.

The NTORQ is the first scooter in India to get Bluetooth enabled console. It gets navigation, caller ID display among various other things, which is a first in the segment.
The NTORQ has a unique design and gets dual tone body.
It gets red highlighted rear shock absorber, giving it a very sporty look.
The rear end looks quite busy but the LED tail-lamps grab most of the attention.
There is a brake-lock too. In case, you want to park it on an incline. It is like hand-brake for scooters.
Definitely the heaviest exhaust note in the segment and it sounds like a motorcycle.
The NTORQ also features the Indian flag on its body.
The large headlamp on the apron gets and LED DRL too.
NTORQ is the first TVS scooter to get the “TVS Racing” emblem.
The seat gets contrasting red stitches that look very sporty.
It gets ventilated petal disc brake at the front and has good stopping power.
