Riding a superbike on Indian roads can be an experience of a lifetime. The amount of attention superbike riders gain in India is simply out of the world. While some people may enjoy the attention, it can cause accidents as well. This video shows how.
The footage from the helmet camera of this Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R shows how most superbike riders feel on Indian roads. The video shows random people on scooters racing against the Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R on public roads. Sometimes the riders try to show off their skills by riding zigzag and dangerously. Towards the end, a rider on TVS NTorq takes it too far by cutting through the lanes.

The helmet camera footage of the Ninja ZX-10R rider shows the TVS NTorq rider making abrput turns. The Ninja rider keeps calm and rides behind the NTorq rider. Suddenly, the NTorq rider tries to overtake an autorickshaw and sees the speed breaker at the last moment. He presses the brake hard, which causes him to lose the front end and skid.
The rider falls down on the road and since he was not wearing a helmet, he hits his face against the divider. The rider gets multiple injuries including some scratches on his face. The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R parks his motorcycle and goes to help the rider while the pedestrians also rush to help him.
The NTorq rider apologises too on the video. While the NTorq rider sits on a bus stand, the Ninja rider calls his family members asking for help. He also claims on video that the rider on a scooter was drunk but we cannot confirm the same.
Superbikes are attention magnet
Riding a superbike is like holding a big balloon in your hand that makes loud noises. Everyone will look at you regardless of their affection for automobiles. Superbikes attract a lot of attention on the roads and you will find many with their intriguing questions and urge to touch the bike. Many of these onlookers also challenge the superbikes to race and ride rashly, which can cause accidents. Even cops love to pose with superbikes.
One should always remain calm and mind their own business while riding a superbike in India. There will be many who will try to challenge the bike riders to race. Such challenges can lead to accidents as we saw in the video. We appreciate the superbike rider in this video for keeping his calm and even helping out the scooter rider when he fell down.
