Hyundai is offering attractive discounts on its Santro, i10 and 120 models, across variants. The discounts range from as low as Rs. 20,521 to a healthy Rs. 40,000. Here we take a quick look at the discounts being offered to see if they make the overall proposition of these cars better.
First let’s take a look at the discounts being offered on the Hyundai Santro followed by the discounts on the i10 and the i20.
The base Santro Xing Non AC which costs Rs. 2.80 becomes even more attractive at Rs.2.53 lakh making it a great deal. Its chief rival the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R starts at Rs. 3.36 lakh making the Santro a whopping Rs.83,000 cheaper. Let’s take a look at the discounts more closely, with the help of a table.

The most attractive i10 model post the discount is the i10 Magna 1.2 which gets a massive Rs. 40,000 discount bringing its price down from 4.20 lakh to Rs. 3.80 lakh which is close to the price of the i10 Era. The base model of the Maruti Suzuki Ritz comes at around Rs. 4 lakh making the i10 around Rs. 20,000 cheaper.

The discount is a uniform Rs. 28,400 for all i20 variants. The i20 1.2 Magna which costs Rs. 4.70 lakh post the discount is the most attractive option with a price close to that of the i10 Sportz. The base model of the Maruti Suzuki Swift comes at a price of Rs. 4.22 lakh which means that the i20 is still Rs. 48,000 more expensive than the popular Swift.
