Upcoming all-new Hyundai Verna leaked before official launch

The all-new Hyundai Verna is going to make its global debut and launch in the Indian car market on March 21st. While Hyundai has already started teasing the new Verna on its social media platforms ahead of its launch, the car has already been seen up close and personal in South Korea. These images fully reveal how the new Hyundai Verna looks from the outside.

There are two images of the all-new Hyundai Verna which have surfaced on the internet – one of the front profile and the other of the rear profile of the car. At the front, the new Verna gets a much sleeker fascia, comprising a thin strip of daytime running LED running across the width of the car. This design detail has already been confirmed by Hyundai in its teaser videos. The front bumper of the car houses the lower-placed all-LED headlamps, hexagonal grille with L-shaped gloss-black inserts and vertical housings for the projector fog lamps.

At the rear, the new Hyundai Verna gets a completely revamped design for the tail lamps, which now are designed in an L-shaped pattern and get new LED inserts. These tail lamps have a long horizontal bar connecting them, which bears the name of the car in the middle. The side profile of the car is also seen in these images, which show that it gets chrome touches for the door handles, window waistline and C-pillar. Even the design for the machined alloy wheels looks fresher than before and looks inspired by that of the top-spec Hyundai Creta.

The leaked images do not show the interior of the new Hyundai Verna. However, the images leaked before and the official teasers released by Hyundai show that the cabin of the new Verna has been completely revamped with new-generation features. In addition to all the features of the outgoing model, the new Hyundai Verna is expected to get a few more add-ons like a full suite of ADAS features. The new Hyundai Verna will arrive in India with two engine options – a 1.5-litre 115 PS naturally-aspirated petrol engine and a 1.5-litre 160 PS turbocharged petrol engine.

It is evident from the images that the new Hyundai Verna is longer and wider than the outgoing model. The competitor models like Honda City, Volkswagen Virtus and Skoda Slavia have all grown in size compared to their predecessors. Therefore, it was expected that the new Verna will also grow in size to keep up with the competition.
