The Indian car market is currently getting a lot of new launches. After getting to see the all-new Harrier and all-new Venue this year, the Indian market will see a few more launches in the time ahead of us. Four of all the upcoming launches are expected to happen in the Indian market next. Here is a list with details of all the cars and SUVs that will be launched in the Indian market next month.
MG Hector
The MG Hector has been spotted testing on the Indian roads for a long time now and has been officially revealed by the manufacturer too. In the coming month, MG will officially announce the price of the all-new MG Hector, which will become the first car from the brand the Indian market. The all-new Hector will get a unique design and will take on the cars like Mahindra XUV500 in the segment. The MG Hector will be the biggest car in the segment with a very modern look. It gets sleek DRLs as an extension of the grille while the main headlamp cluster is located in the bumper of the car. It also gets a lot of chrome but overall, the Hector looks quite smart and imposing.
On the inside, it gets features like Artificial Intelligence-enabled infotainment system that can be controlled through voice commands, eSIM enabled infotainment system that remains connected to the cloud all the time and sends updates about the status of the SUV. It also gets a panoramic sunroof, cruise control, 6 airbags, and more such features. The MG Hector gets powered by a 2.0-litre diesel engine and a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine.
Kia Tusker
Kia Motors, a South Korea-based automobile giant will soon launch their first product in the Indian market. Before the official launch, the brand will unveil the production version of the car in the Indian market next year. The car is based on the Kia SP concept, which was first showcased at the 2018 Auto Expo. The first car from the brand will be a mid-size SUV that will be similar to the Hyundai Creta and will take on the likes of Tata Harrier, Renault Captur and Nissan Kicks. Kia has released a few official sketches of the car that reveals the LED DRL, LED tail lamps, faux diffuser, tiger-nose grille and more such design patterns of the upcoming car. Engine options of the upcoming car are not known but it is likely to get a 1.6-litre petrol engine and a 1.6-litre diesel engine from the Hyundai Creta.
Renault Triber
Renault is working on an all-new 7-seater MPV that will be known as the Triber in the Indian market. The all-new car will be based on the Renault’s CMF-A platform that also underpins the likes of Renault Kwid in the market. The Renault Triber will offer a unique removable third-row seat option that will ensure maximum space utilization. The engine options are not known but, the car is likely to get powered by a 1.2-litre engine that powers the Nissan Micra.
Toyota Glanza
Toyota will soon launch the first-ever car from the Suzuki-Toyota partnership in India. The rebadged Suzuki Baleno will be known as the Glanza under the Toyota umbrella in India. The rebadged vehicle gets minimal changes like the front grill and logos. The rest of the vehicle and features remain the same. Even the cabin of the Glanza will remain similar to the Maruti Suzuki Baleno. It should be noted that the Glanza will initially get only the petrol engine options from Maruti Suzuki.
