Hyundai India has been the second-best-selling manufacturer in the Indian market for a long time now. The South Korean manufacturer offers a slew of models in the Indian market including hatchbacks, SUVs and sedans. According to Financial Express, Hyundai is currently working on a number of new launches in the Indian market that will spread across the price range. The brand plans to launch as many as six new vehicles in the market. Which vehicles are these? Well, here is a list of six vehicles that Hyundai will launch in the coming months.

All-new Hyundai Creta

The Hyundai Creta has remained a popular mid-size compact SUV in the Indian market. However, the arrival of the Kia Seltos has negatively affected the sales of the Creta and it has been replaced by the new entrant from the top spot on the sales chart. Hyundai will soon launch the all-new Creta in the Indian market that will be showcased at the 2020 Auto Expo and will be subsequently launched in the Indian market. The upcoming vehicle has already bee spotted testing on the Indian roads. It will get the same platform as the Seltos and will share the 1.5-litre petrol and diesel engine options with the rival too. Look-wise, it will be radically different from the current version and will get a split headlamp set-up.

Facelifted Hyundai Verna

Hyundai will also update the Verna, which rivals the vehicles like Honda City and Maruti Suzuki Ciaz in the Indian market. The new Verna will be heavily updated and will be inspired by its China-spec version. It will get a different cascade grille, new headlamps and a host of other changes on the front, rear and the cabin of the vehicle. From the side, the profile of the Verna will remain similar to the current version of the sedan.

All-new Hyundai Aura

Based on the all-new Grand i10 NIOS, the Hyundai Aura will be revealed by the end of this year in the Indian market. The car will be launched by early 2020 in the market and it is expected to look as aggressive as the all-new Grand i10 NIOS. The all-new Aura will get three engine options in which two options will be petrol and one of them will be diesel. The interior is expected to be similar to the Grand i10 NIOS.

All-new Hyundai Elite i20

Hyundai will launch the all-new Hyundai Elite i20 in the Indian market next year. Hyundai has started testing the all-new car under heavy camouflage and it looks extremely aggressive from the front. The all-new Hyundai Elite i20 gets a very extreme bumper and a new grille that flows outwards to form the headlamps. This will be the third-generation of the i20 in India and will also get a new cabin. The car will be powered by a 1.0-litre turbocharged petrol engine and a new BS6 compliant diesel engine, which is likely to be the lower displacement version of the 1.5-litre unit that powers the Seltos.

More powerful Hyundai Grand i10 NIOS

Hyundai launched the all-new Grand i10 NIOS in the Indian market earlier this year to take on the likes of Swift and Figo. Soon, the manufacturer will put the more powerful 1.0-litre turbocharged engine in the Grand i10 NIOS that powers the Hyundai Venue. The same engine produces a maximum of 118 Bhp, which will be detuned to produce around 100 Bhp. I will compete with the likes of Tata Tiago JTP when launched.

Facelifted Hyundai Tucson

The facelifted Hyundai Tucson is long-awaited in India. It is already on sale in the international markets. The Tucson facelift will come with a host of new features and equipment along with freshened up exteriors. The major changes on the exteriors will the new sharp ‘Cascade’ grille, all-LED headlights, new fog lamp housing, new alloys and LED tail lamps among others. On the inside, the new Tucson will come with new driver-assistance features like autonomous emergency braking, lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and a 360-degree camera. There will also be a new 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system and the SUV will continue to be powered by the same set of engines.
