Hyundai has been working on a facelift of the Venue compact SUV. The test mules were first spotted in South Korea but now the test mules have also been spotted in India. So, we can expect the launch to happen in the coming months. Here, we have the rendering of the Venue Facelift and Venue N Line.
The renderings are done by Shubhajit Dixit and the images are shared on Facebook. The artist has rendered the front and rear of the Venue Facelift. The overall design language has not been changed radically. But it does feel modern because the current Venue has not gotten any update since its launch.
The front still gets a split headlamp setup. So, the turn indicator is placed above a strip that is now longer. The headlamp sits in the bumper and is still rectangular in shape. It gets an LED Daytime Running Lamp as a surround. It still gets a projector setup but the artist is using a LED setup instead of the current halogen one.

The grille is all-new and is inspired by Tucson’s grille. We will be seeing the new grille on other Hyundai vehicles also. The bumper has also been redesigned and so is the foglamp housing. The fog lamps are now LED units and are no longer in a circular shape.
On the sides, there are new alloy wheels and the wheel arches have been flared. There are shark-fin antenna and roof rails also. It is the rear that has been heavily revised. There are new LED tail lamps that are a split unit. The artist has also made a light bar that connects both the tail lamps. However, we do not know whether that will m make it to production or not. The rear bumper is also new and gets rear reflectors and reversing lamp in it.
Venue N Line
Shubhajit has also rendered the Venue N Line which was also spotted in South Korea. Hyundai did say that they will be launching more N Line products when they launched the i20 N Line. The rendering of Venue N Line looks sporty immediately.
The LED Daytime Running Lamps now sit in place of the turn indicators. The grille might be the same but it has the N Line logo in red. There is also a red stripe on the bumper and on the sides. The alloy wheels are borrowed from the Alcazar so they are larger. The paint scheme is also finished in blue and white. The body is painted in blue but the outside rearview mirrors and the roof is painted in white. Hyundai will also make some mechanical changes to the N Line variants of the Venue.
No changes to engines and gearbox
Hyundai will not make any change to the engine or the gearbox. It would continue to be offered with a naturally aspirated petrol engine, a diesel engine and a turbocharged petrol engine. The N Line variants would come only with the turbocharged petrol engine.
