The upcoming Mahindra U321 MPV has been spied once again. While Mahindra and Mahindra continues to test the car with a lot of camouflage, the latest spy images reveal the stylish alloy wheels of the MPV. The U321 will launch in April 2018 and is first of the four upcoming Mahindra cars in FY 2018-19.

The spy images that surfaced online earlier showed a 5-spoke alloy wheel design. The latest pics, however, show new 6-split-spoke two-tone alloy wheels. What this simply means is that the company is planning to offer different alloy wheel designs on different trims. It’s being said that the U321 will be an upmarket MPV that will feel a lot more premium than the Xylo. The new MPV will offer many features and three rows of front-facing seats. It will also offer ABS and Airbags as standard fitments across all the trims.
The Mahindra U321 MPV will launch with a new 1.6-Litre mFalcon Diesel engine that has been developed with inputs from Ssangyong. The new motor will output a maximum power of 125 bhp along with a peak torque of 305 Nm. A petrol engine will be also available.
While the prices will be announced only at the time of the launch, the upcoming Mahindra U321 MPV is expected to be positioned close to the Renault Lodgy. The spy images that you can see here reveal a traditional MPV-ish silhouette with a cab-forward design. From whatever can be made out from these images, it’s highly likely that the new MPV will feature a large green-house, sleek headlamps, LED taillamps, and a mult-slat grille that’s typical of all new-age Mahindra products. The interior will offer a beige-grey colour theme and will likely offer up to eight seats. Stay tuned for more updates
