The launch of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is just around the corner, though the premium hatchback has started arriving in the stockyards of the dealer outlets across India. Till now, we have seen the new Baleno and its details just in pictures in the web world. A new video by Khushal Kumar shows the upcoming Baleno from all around.
The new video shows the top-spec Alpha variant of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno in Nexa’s trademark shade of blue. In the video, it is clear that the new Baleno retains the curvy silhouette of the current model. However, the new Baleno now looks sleeker than before, with its existing elements tweaked to make them look sharper than before.
Maruti Suzuki Baleno thoroughly updated
At the front, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a wider grille with a more horizontal chrome garnish on its lower edge. Like before, the chrome garnish extends towards the headlamps, which are now sharper and angular than before, and look much like the headlamps on the Maruti Suzuki Ciaz. The headlamps now get a new pattern for the daytime running LEDs, along with LED projector headlamps.
Coming to the side profile, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno gets a revised shoulder line, the chrome garnish of which flows towards the outer edge of the rear quarter glass as well. The door-mounted rearview mirrors with integrated turn indicators and chrome door handle look the same as before. The 16-inch machined alloy wheels now have a different design theme for them.
At the back, the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno looks slightly revised than before, with new tail lamps which are wider and sharper from the edges than before. The tail lamps now have a two-part L-shaped design, which extends towards the boot lid as well. Like before, the new Baleno will continue to get a roof-mounted spoiler and chrome garnish across the width of the boot lid. The rear bumper is new too, with a bigger trapezoidal housing for the license plate on it.
The cabin of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Baleno is not visible in the video. However, it is known that the new version of the Baleno will come with dual-tone black and violet upholstery. It will get a revised layout for the dashboard, a new flat-bottom multi-functional steering wheel and a new 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system.
Apart from a couple of segment-firsts like a head-up display and 360-degree camera, the new Baleno will get features like wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, wireless charger, cruise control, integrated Suzuki Connect and Amazon Alexa compatibility, six airbags and a push start-stop button.
