The Upcoming TVS Prestige motorcycle will get its juice from the same engine that powers the TVS Sport. The Sport features a 99.7cc, single-cylinder, carbureted motor that outputs a maximum power of 7.4 PS at 7,500 rpm. The engine comes mated to a four-speed manual transmission.

TVS claims that the engine can deliver a maximum mileage of 95 kmpl on the Sport. The new TVS Prestige will likely offer a similar mileage figure. The engine pairs with a 4-speed gearbox. As per TVS’ internal testing, the bike’s efficiency stands at 95 km/l.

The Prestige will offer an upright riding position with a well-cushioned seat, which is typical of an entry-level motorcycle. The upcoming TVS 100cc motorcycle will feature telescopic forks at front a twin rear shock absorber setup at the rear. Both the wheels will get a drum brake each.

The Upcoming TVS Prestige 100cc motorcycle will be slightly pricier than the Sport. Currently, the TVS Sport has a starting pice of Rs 38,513 (ex-showroom price for the kick-start, spoke wheel variant). The Presting, on the other hand, is likely to have a starting price of Rs 45,000.

The fully-loaded variant could cost upto Rs 50,000. In this price bracket, the Prestige will face competition from some well-established competition in the form of the Bajaj Platina, Hero Dawn, and Honda Dream. Akin to the Sport, even the Prestige will likely offer a five-year warranty as a standard feature.

Other than the upcoming commuter motorcycle, TVS is said to be working even on a couple of cruiser motorcycles based on the Zeppelin Concept. Also, rumours abound that the manufacturer will also launch the Apache RTR 160 facelift in coming months. Stay tuned for the latest news on the upcoming TVS bikes in India.
