Hyundai launched the new i20 last year. While many people thought that the new generation of i20 was too expensive for a premium hatchback, it was still able to clock good numbers. The new i20’s price is similar to compact SUVs but the i20 offers more legroom and space for the occupants. The cabin also looks more upmarket than the compact SUVs. The i20 starts at Rs. 6.79 lakhs ex-showroom and goes all the way up to Rs. 11.32 lakhs ex-showroom. It competes with the Toyota Glanza, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Tata Altroz, Honda Jazz and the Volkswagen Polo. Here, we have some i20’s that are in the pre-owned market.
1.2 Petrol Magna
The first one on our list is the Magna variant which is the base variant of the i20. The vehicle is registered in Delhi. It is finished in white colour and is a first-owner vehicle. It is powered by the naturally aspirated petrol engine that produced 83 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 113 Nm. It is mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox. The second one on our list is a red i20 that is registered in Delhi. It is also a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol one and comes with a 5-speed manual gearbox. However, it is the Asta variant that sits just below the top-end Asta(O) variants. It comes with BlueLink connected car technology, smart key, LED projector headlamps with LED Daytime Running Lamps, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, automatic climate control, OTA map updates, BOSE sound system with subwoofer, 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, sliding front armrest, ambient lighting and a lot more. 1.5 Diesel Asta(O)
The last one on our list is finished in white colour and is a January 2021 model. It comes with a 1.5-litre diesel engine which is borrowed from the Seltos. However, it has been detuned slightly. The engine produces 100 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 240 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is the top-end Asta(O) variant which means it comes with all the bells and whistles.
It comes with side and airbags, height-adjustable seat belts, ISOFIX mounts, cruise control, electric sunroof, adjustable rear headrests, electronic stability control, hill assist control and much more. The i20 is covered by Zero Dep insurance and has seat covers installed on it too. The vehicle is registered in Gujarat and has covered 6,500 km.
