Audi R8 is one of the most iconic sports cars that was ever launched. One of the reasons for this is the never ageing styling of the coupe and the other one being it was driven by Tony Stark in Iron Man. Since then everyone knows R8 and has a soft spot for it. Unfortunately, R8 was discontinued by Audi in India. It was one of the most value for money supercars that offered immense road presence and exhilarating performance. Here are two Audi R8 that is currently on sale in the used automotive market and are selling for less than a Toyota Fortuner SUV. Both the R8’s on our list are 2009 manufactured and are currently on sale. They are priced under Rs. 45 lakhs which is quite impressive as a new Toyota Fortuner would end up costing around Rs. 46 lakhs for the top-end variant. While buying the R8 would be cheaper than the Fortuner, it would be a lot expensive to maintain an R8 in your garage. Being a discontinued supercar means that it would need special care, maintenance and it would be difficult to find spare parts. However, the screaming soundtrack and the road presence that the R8 will offer is a lot more than what you can get from a Fortuner. The Fortuner is now very common on roads whereas the exclusivity of the R8 is just something different.

The R8’s that we are checking out today is powered by a naturally aspirated 4.2-litre V8 petrol engine. The engine produces 423 Bhp of max power and 430 Nm of peak torque. The engine comes mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission that transfers the power to all the four wheels through Audi’s legendary Quattro all-wheel-drive system.
2010 Audi R8 20,000 km
The first one on our list has covered 20,000 km and is still a first-owner vehicle which is quite impressive. The vehicle is registered in Tamil Nadu and the advertisement says that the NOC will be provided directly to the buyer. The advertisement says that the service history of the R8 is also available. The vehicle here is finished in bright red colour that really pops in proper lighting conditions. The side blades of the R8 and the alloy wheels are finished in black colour.
