India’s second largest car manufacturer Hyundai recently launched their first ever seven seater SUV Alcazar in our market. The SUV is based on Hyundai Creta and competes with cars like Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus in the segment. Just like Creta, Alcazar also gained popularity among buyers in a short span of time. There is waiting period of almost 2 months on this SUV and Hyundai has already received over 11,000 booking since its launch. Within months after the launch, Hyundai Alcazar has already hit the used car market. Here we have one such Hyundai Alcazar SUV that is probably India’s first Alcazar in the used car market.
The advertisement for Alcazar has been published by a seller from Shekhpura Mohalla, Sikar, Rajasthan. The white colour Alcazar looks like a brand new SUV with no major dents or scratches anywhere on it. The Alcazar seen here in the advertisement is a top-end Signature (O) variant. This means, it is loaded with features to the brim.

Like any other Hyundai vehicle, Alcazar is also loaded with features. It offers tri-beam LED headlamps, LED tail lamps, DRLs, 17 inch diamond cut alloy wheels, twin tip exhaust, dual tone black and brown interiors, leather wrapped flat bottom steering wheel, ambient lighting, voice controlled panoramic sunroof, Remote engine start, cruise control, automatic climate control, wireless phone charger both for front and second row passengers, connected car services, ventilated seats and so on.
It also gets electronic parking brake, drive modes, traction control, paddle shifters, premium speaker system from Bose, front and rear parking sensors, 360 degree camera, blind view monitor, fully digital instrument cluster, air purifier, leatherette upholstery and so on. Hyundai has launched Alcazar in three trim. There is Prestige, Platinum and Signature variants. Even the base variant of Alcazar is decently loaded with features. Hyundai is offering Alcazar with two engine options. There is a 2.0 litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that is already used in Elantra. This engine generates 159 Ps and 191 Nm of torque. It is available with both manual and automatic gearbox.
The next engine option is diesel which uses a 1.5 litre turbocharged motor. This is the same engine that is also doing duties in Hyundai Creta. The engine generates 115 Ps and 250 Nm of peak torque. This engine is also available with manual and automatic transmission. Although Alcazar is based on Creta, Hyundai has made several changes to the overall design of the SUV to give it a character of its own. A Creta and Alcazar can be easily differentiated on the road. Alcazar also has a longer wheelbase than Creta and it is also the SUV with longest wheelbase in this segment.
Coming to the details, this is a 2021 model Hyundai Alcazar diesel Automatic 6-seater SUV. The car has done approximately 2,500 kms on the odometer which makes this SUV as good as a new vehicle. The SUV comes with insurance and company warranty. Seller does not mention the reason behind the sale. Asking price for this almost new Alcazar is Rs 21.99 lakh.
