Jaguar XJ-L super luxury sedan selling at Honda City prices

Jaguar XJ-L was the most expensive sedan that was ever sold by the British luxury car manufacturer. The XJ-L competes with cars like Mercedes-Benz S-Class, BMW 7-series and Audi A8 L in the segment. Jaguar discontinued XJ L from our market years ago but, there are well maintained examples available in the used car market. Used luxury car market has been growing in the last few years and we have seen several well maintained luxury cars selling for very affordable prices. The main reason why these are available at such exciting prices is because, they depreciate very fast. Here we have a video that shows a Jagur XJ-L luxury saloon selling at Honda City prices.

The video has been uploaded by Baba Luxury Car on their YouTube channel. The video starts with the seller showing how the car looks from outside and then moves in to explain the features. This is a silver coloured Jaguar XJ-L luxury saloon. The car looks well maintained from outside. There are no major scratches or dents seen on the car. There is only a minor dent on the bumper.

The car gets projector headlamps, chrome finished front grille, front parking sensors and on the side profile, it got company fitted alloy wheel, auto folding ORVMs with turn indicators, LED tail lamps, reverse parking camera and so on. Overall, the car looks well maintained and the paint job has not faded at any place.

As this was the flagship model from Jaguar in India, it was loaded with features to the brim. The interiors get leather wrapped door pads with wooden inserts. The dashboard also has leather wrapped around it. The center console has a company fitted touchscreen infotainment screen and switches for the climate control AC. Jaguar XJ-L comes with 4-zone climate control. The buttons for electrically adjusting the seats are available on the door.

All the seats on this luxury saloon get ventilated seat function whereas the front seats only come with massage function which can be activated from the touchscreen at the front. The seats and the steering wheel is wrapped in high quality leather and they all look well maintained. There are no signs of rough usage on the door handles, switches or any other part. As we move to the rear, there is a large amount of legroom as this is a long wheelbase saloon. Two people can comfortable sit and enjoy the ride.

There are rear AC vents, and two entertainment screen for rear seat occupants. The screen at the rear is controlled using a touchscreen remote placed inside the center armrest. The car also gets manual sun blinds for rear seat occupants. There are other features like a panoramic sunroof on this XJ-L.

Coming to the details, this is a 2011 model diesel luxury saloon. The diesel version of aJaguar XJ L is powered by a 3.0 litre engine V6 engine that generated 271 Bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque. The engine is mated to an automatic transmission. The car seen in the video has done over 48,000 kms and is registered in Jharkhand. Asking price for this well maintained Jaguar XJ L luxury saloon is Rs 17.45 lakh.
