The 530d M Sport was a blend of luxury as well as sportiness. It came with a six-cylinder, 3.0-litre diesel engine that comes with a turbocharger. The engine produces 258 bhp of max power. However, being a diesel engine, it is the torque output that is massive. The 530d’s engine produces 540 Nm of peak torque. It is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission that drives the rear wheels only.
Despite being powered by a diesel engine, this 5 Series can hit a ton in under 5 seconds. It can exceed 200 kmph fairly easily for a car that weighs around 1.7 tonnes. It also comes with driving modes that alter the suspension, steering wheel, gearbox ferocity and engine. You also get paddle shifters so the driver can change the gear himself by pulling the paddles. It is important to note that this is not the full-blown M5, it is the sportiest variant of the regular 5 Series.

For the interior, there is an M Sport steering wheel, a digital instrument cluster that does not come with many customizations, black and beige cabin theme, an electric adjustment for seats, a touchscreen infotainment system, an electric sunroof and much more. The rear occupants also get rear AC vents and entertainment screens. The wooden insert on the dashboard enhances the appeal of the cabin.
