Super luxurious DC Design Toyota Innova selling cheaper than a WagonR

Toyota launched the Innova MPV in the Indian market over a decade ago. Ever since then, it has been a popular car among buyers from both private and commercial sector. Innova is popular for its comfortable ride, reliability and low cost of maintenance. Because of all these reason Toyota Innova’s have a good resale value.

One of the common type of modifications seen in Innova was the DC lounge. In this modification, the cabin of Innova is completely revamped to looks more luxurious than the regular one. Here we have a video of a DC design Toyota Innova MPV that is available for sale.

The video has been uploaded by Baba Luxury Car on their YouTube channel. The video starts with the seller showing the Innova from outside and then taking us through the modifications and features on the inside. The Inova seen in the video is a grey colour MPV and it looks in extremely good condition. We could not see any scratches or dents on any part of the car.

The exterior also get some modifications like a redesigned lower bumper with fog lamps, side steps for rear passenger, body coloured door cladding and a redesigned rear bumper. The Toyota badge on the front grille has been removed from the car. No other modifications have been made to the car on the outside. It still gets steel rims with wheel caps and regular halogen headlamps and tail lamps.

The seller then shows the cabin of the DC Innova. The driver side portion of the Innova is maintained in stock condition with normal music system, fabric upholstery on seats and so on but, when it comes to the rear, things change completely. There is a partition between the front and the rear row of seats. The cabin gets a tan coloured theme with wooden panel inserts on door and other places.

As this is a DC lounge, there are only two captain seats at the rear. The seats gets individual electrical adjustments where it can be reclined or brought back up. It can also be converted into a bed if needed. The switches for all these adjustments are installed on the doors. The seats are covered in tan colour leather and there are other features like an LCD screen with separate stereo system. There are speakers mounted on the doors and boot for a premium audio experience.

Coming to the roof, this Toyota Innova gets roof mounted reading lights and ambient lighting. The roof looks a lot premium or luxurious than the original one. Overall, the interior of the car looks well maintained just like the exterior and it does give you a luxury car feeling. As the third row seats are not there on this car, it offers a decent amount of boot space and the same is shown in the video.

Coming to the details, this is a 2009 model diesel Toyota Innova. The car has done approximately 95,000 kms on the odometer and is registered in Uttar Pradesh. Asking price for this well maintained modified Toyota Innova is Rs 5.95 lakh, which is cheaper than a brand new Maruti WagonR.
