Supercharged Jaguar XF-S with 270 Bhp selling cheaper than a Honda City

Used car market is gaining popularity in India and several people are buying used luxury cars as well. We have seen several videos and advertisements on internet where the luxury vehicles are being sold at a very attractive price tag. Why these luxury vehicles have such an attractive price is because they have a very bad resale value and are quite expensive to maintain. We have featured several used luxury cars on our website in the past and here we have another video that shows a Jaguar luxury sedan XF-S which is being sold at a price cheaper than a brand new Honda City.

The video has been published by Baba Luxury Car on their youtube channel. The video starts by showing the condition of the vehicle. It later on shows what all features it offers. Starting with the exterior, it has projector lamps, chrome front grille, and the magic blue colour on the car looks quite premium. The car looks is great condition as no major dents or scratches were seen on the body in the video.

It comes with factory fitted alloy wheels with almost new tyres. The Jaguar badging on the side fender adds to the premium look. At the rear, it gets chrome garnish on the boot, twin exhaust tips and XF-S badging. Just like the exteriors, interiors of this Jaguar XFS has been well maintained. The dashboard has a dual tone combination on black and beige. There is a company fitted touchscreen, wooden inserts on the dash and doors. memory seats for driver seat, dual zone climate control and an electric sunroof.

Like any other luxury car in the segment, this Jaguar XFS also has leather wrapped seats. The steering also has a leather wrap with carbon fibre inserts on the lower portion. The gear knob is the rotary dial which is placed in the center console. What makes XF-S different from regular XF is the performance. It is powered by a 3.0 litre V6 supercharged diesel engine that generates 270 Bhp and 600 Nm of peak torque.

The one seen in the video is a 2012 model XFS which has done approximately 52,000 kms on the odometer. The vehicle is currently registered in Delhi and the asking price for this luxury sedan is Rs 12.95 lakh. This is way less than a brand new Honda City sedan. The price might seem to be attractive for some people but, one thing that you should keep in mind while buying these cars is that they are quite expensive to maintain. It is always a good idea to have a closer look at the vehicle before making a final decision because if something goes wrong with the vehicle, then it is definitely going to burn a hole in your pocket.
