Hyundai’s Santro moniker returned to the Indian market after an absence of several years. Launched in the market last year, the Hyundai Santro takes on the likes of Maruti Suzuki WagonR. The all-new Santro, however, has not been able to post as good sales figures as its predecessor in the market and that is because of the stiff competition. Nonetheless, the all-new Santro offers a much bigger cabin, modern looks and of course, a more powerful engine than its predecessor. Here is a Santro, which is only 3,000 km old and is on sale in the used car market. The asking price of the car is Rs 5.3 lakh, which is cheaper than the brand-new car, which has a retail price of Rs 5.47 lakh, ex-showroom. The on-road price is around Rs 6 lakhs.
This is a 2018 manufactured Hyundai Santro, which was purchased in 2019. The vehicle is still in showroom condition and has done only 3,000 km according to the odometer. The car on sale is the Sportz variant and it is automatic, which makes it extremely easy to drive around on the congested city roads. The pictures show that the car has no scratches on the body. The car has also never been involved in any kind of accidents and it comes with factory fitted body panels.
The vehicle is registered in Punjab and all the service history is available. It gets powered by a 1.1-litre petrol engine that produces a maximum power of 69 PS and peak torque of 99 Nm. There only a single engine option available with the Santro. It gets a 5-speed manual transmission as standard but the car on sale gets a 5-speed AMT automatic transmission. It returns a maximum fuel efficiency of 23.1 km/l, which is quite a lot.
The all-new Hyundai Santro gets a 7.0-inch touchscreen infotainment set-up, which is also present in this particular model. The infotainment system also gets Bluetooth and Mirror Link connectivity options. Hyundai has become the first manufacturer in the segment to offer the Android Auto and the Apple CarPlay system. Also, the Santro offers a rear AC vent, which is an extremely important feature, especially in the Indian summers.
On the inside, the Santro gets a black and beige combination, which looks quite premium. Safety features of the car include dual front airbags but this model only gets a single, driver side airbag Moreover, features ABS, EBD, seatbelt reminder, speed alert and reverse parking sensors are standard.
