Video of cars worth millions passing by on train, while local people catch fish shows 2 different worlds

People in this world are divided into different segments depending on their economic condition. We do come across people from various economic segment on our day-to-day basis however, we never think about it much. While in most cases we overlook such differences, there are situations where you are left with no other choice but to notice and think about the same. It could either be something that happened to you or may be something that you saw online. Here we have one such video where a train is seen transporting cars worth millions while local fishermen from the area are catching fish.

The video was shared by H0W_THlNGS_W0RK on their Twitter page. The page shared this video with a caption that said, “Madness! What seems like a never ending train carrying millions of dollars worth of vehicles passing by locals searching for fish. Never seen such a contrasting video!”. The video shows how contrasting the world is.

We did bot of a research and found that the video was recorded from Cambodia last year. The train seen here in the video a Royal Railway Train of Cambodia and it is transporting Ford Everest (Ford Endeavour) and Ford pick up trucks from Poi Pet to Phnom Penh. Cambodia is a developing country just like India and in many areas people have started shifting to urban areas and improve their lifestyle. However, a majority of the population is still experiencing poverty and living in rural areas. The train can be seen passing through a rural area and locals living next nearby can be seen catching fish as part of their living in a nearby pond.

Train carrying Ford Everest SUV

The local fishermen were not all amazed by the long train carrying expensive cars. Many people who came across the video also had agreed to the caption and many of them agreed that the video does show how different people are economically even when they are living in the same country. Coming back to the train, it was transporting, the all.-new Ford Endeavour or Everest as it is called in international market. Ford unveiled the new generation of this full-size SUV in the market last year around September in Malaysia.

The front fascia of the SUV has completely been updated. It now gets a design inspired from F150 series pick-up truck from Ford. The trucks are quite popular and even in India, many people have opted for Raptor body kits which transforms the front look of the SUV. The SUV looks slightly more muscular and bulkier than that of the older version which was available in Indian market. Internationally, Ford is offering Everest with two engine options. There is a 2.0 turbocharged engine in the Sport version that produces 170 Ps and 405 Nm of peak torque. This engine is mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. The Trend and Titanium variants get the Bi-Turbo engine that genereates 210 PS and 500 Nm of torque. Both these variants are offered with the 10-speed automatic transmission. Endavour is still a very capable SUV in off-road conditions.
