As you might know that India just secured a win over England in the T20 international cricket match by 3-2. In it, India’s famous cricketer Virat Kohli was awarded a Hyundai i20 Turbo as the ‘Performer Of The Series’ award. The premium hatchback was finished in Fiery Red colour. England was defeated by India by a score of 3-2, in which Virat Kohli scored 80 runs off just 52 balls. This helped India’s total runs to 224 for a loss of 2 wickets. This is also India’s highest ever score against England who lost the match by 36 runs as they scored 188 runs with a loss of 8 wickets.
“It was a complete game for us. Totally outplayed the opposition. Even with so much dew coming in, like last game we’ve defended the total again. Despite Rishabh and Iyer not getting a chance we put on 225. Testimony to our batting depth. Today Rohit and me were both positive in our intent.” Virat Kohli said on winning the series. Virat is the highest-scoring captain in T20s. Before him, it was New Zealand’s Kane Williamson, who has the highest number of 50s to his name.
Virat Kohli also has a passion for cars which reflects when we take a look at his extensive collection of supercars. He owns a lot of Audi vehicles such as an Audi R8 LMX, RS5, A8L, S5, RS6 and others. He owns these many Audi’s because he is the brand ambassador of Audi India. He also owns a Bentley Continental GT and a Bentley Flying Spur which is used by him the most whenever he is travelling either alone or with his wife Anushka Sharma. He also owns a Land Rover Vogue that is parked in Delhi and he uses the luxury SUV whenever he is in Delhi.
Virat Kohli was awarded the Turbo variant of the Hyundai i20. It is the top-end variant of the premium hatchback. The i20 is also one of the most expensive premium hatchbacks that you can currently buy in the Indian market. There are three engines to choose from. There is a 1.2-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine, 1.5-litre diesel engine and a 1.0-litre turbocharged, direct-injection petrol engine. The diesel engine produces 100 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 240 Nm. It is only offered with a 6-speed manual gearbox. It is the same engine that we have seen on the Hyundai Venue and it was derived from the Kia Seltos and the Hyundai Creta but it is in its lower state of tune. The naturally aspirated petrol engine produces 83 PS of max power and a peak torque output of 114 Nm. The engine is offered with a 5-speed manual gearbox as standard. You can also get a CVT automatic transmission with this engine which will bump up the power to 88 PS. Then there is the turbo petrol engine borrowed from the Hyundai Venue. It produces 120 PS of max power and a peak torque of 172 Nm. The engine is offered with a 6-speed iMT which is a clutchless manual gearbox or a 77-speed Dual-clutch gearbox.
