Volkswagen Ameo to Hyundai Tucson: Cars with Rs. 1 lakh plus discounts this April

2019 is turning out to be a tough year for auto manufacturers as the sales have come down compared to the previous months. To counter the same, manufacturers are offering big discounts on their lineup of cars. While discounts near about Rs. 50,000 are being offered by several manufacturers, many cars are running with discounts worth more than Rs. 1 lakh or near that sum. Volkswagen Ameo

Max discount value: Rs. 95,000 + after sales service schemes

First on the list is the compact sedan by Volkswagen that challenges the likes of the Maruti Suzuki Dzire and the Ford Aspire among others. The Ameo is getting a total discount value of more than Rs. 1 lakh. This includes a cash discount of Rs. 30,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 30,000. Then there is a loyalty bonus worth Rs. 10,000 along with a corporate bonus up to Rs. 25,000 on select models. Apart from this, Volkswagen is offering an after sales care package consisting of 4-year warranty plus 4 years of roadside assistance along with labour free service for the first year.

Nissan Sunny

Max discount value: Rs. 92,000 + additional exchange scheme+finance scheme

Among the most affordable non-sub-4 meter sedan in India, the Nissan Sunny too is getting big discounts this month. The total discount value on the Sunny exceeds the Rs. 1 lakh mark. The discount scheme includes a direct cashback worth Rs. 62,000 along with an exchange bonus worth Rs. 30,000. Then the company is offering finance for the Sunny at 0% interest rate. Apart from all this, there is a minimum exchange price of Rs. 25,000 on diesel cars more than 10 years old and petrol cars more than 15 years old in Delhi, which have been deemed unfit to run in the city. However, all these discounts are applicable only to the older 2018 make models.

Talking about the discount offers on the Yaris, Toyota is currently offering discounts upto Rs. 1.34 lakh on the Yaris. The discount includes a cashback worth Rs. 84,000 along with an exchange bonus which is only applicable if you buy the car through Toyota finance. Then there is an additional Rs. 20,000 being offered as exchange bonus along with Rs. 30,000 worth of corporate discount.

Honda BR-V

The Honda BR-V is being offered with discounts worth at approximately Rs. 90,000. The discount offer includes an exchange bonus of Rs. 40,000 along with free 1st-year insurance. Apart from this, Honda is also offering accessories worth Rs. 16,000 with the car. The comfortable 7 seater car, therefore, is a decent value for money package this month because of the discounts. Toyota Corolla

According to a few reports, Toyota has shelved the plans of updating the Corolla for the time being.
