June has been a dull month in sales for carmakers across the board, although there were some sparks. And now with July looking to be another lean month before sales begin to pick up ahead of the festive season, carmakers are rolling out the discounts. Here’s what Volkswagen has lined up for you this July.
Volkswagen has introduced what it calls a “Fully Loaded” offer on the Volkswagen Polo and the Volkswagen Vento. No, this isn’t about extra accessories in the car, but one that can save you a bit of cash if you are looking to buy either a Polo or a Vento. Here’s what the offer is about:
Low EMI offer
A buyer can avail of fixed low EMIs on the Volkswagen Polo and the Vento. All you need to do is pay 20% of the invoice price of the car as downpayment. The remaining amount can be paid in 36 months (three years) at a fixed EMI of Rs. 9999 for the Polo and Rs. 14,699 on the Vento. The balance if any (depending on the model you pick) will have to be paid at the end of your loan tenure. Also read: VW Vento pros and cons
For instance on the Polo diesel Highline (ex-showroom Rs. 7.07 lakh) you will need to pay a down-payment of Rs. 2.45 lakh (includes 20% of the invoice price and road tax and insurance). The remaining can be paid for three years at Rs. 9999, and the last payment would have to be a bullet payment for the balance amount (about Rs. 2 lakh).
This is just a variation of the scheme Volkswagen ran in March on the Polo and Vento. Also read: Volkswagen offers Vento at half price in unique deal
The additional benefit here is that Volkswagen is offering an annual maintenance contract, free insurance, extended warranty and road side assistance for three years, all for Rs. 9999 only (the price of a single installment) on the Polo and Rs. 14,699 on the Vento. Select models of the cars – both the Polo and the Vento – now also come with a new music system – a 2 DIN music system with Bluetooth, USB, Aux in and SD card reader.
This offer will be valid for the Volkswagen Polo and Volkswagen Vento on bookings from July 8, 2013 up to July 25, 2013.
