“Since the introduction of the Vento, we have received requests for the mid level Comfortline and it is our pleasure to be able to provide the customers with their desired car,” Neeraj Garg, Member of Board & Director Volkswagen Passenger Cars stated in an official press release.
The Vento is one of the volume drivers for Volkswagen in India besides the Polo small car. Volkswagen sells around 2,700 units of the Vento every month. Since the demand for diesel variants is high, the company has introduced a mid trim (Comfortline) for Vento in order to offer an additional choice to the customer.
