Time degrades the looks and functioning of all cars. Every year adds to the wear and tear. Here is how to keep it looking and working like brand-new.

Get a new coat of paint. Maybe add ceramic protection or PPF film. Get plastic and rubber parts polished. Get the wheels refurbished. All these add up to fresh looks.

outdated style?

Stains and marks can be removed at a detailing shop. Give the dashboard a polish. Get new carpets and mats. Change door panels. DIY will work, but detailing shops can do a great job.

dull interiors?

Replace rusted panels. Give anti-rust treatment to the good panels. The earlier you do it the better. Keep s sharp eye out for rust beginning anywhere - for example, near door hinges. Avoid wetness inside.

body rusting?

Catch them early. Fix immediately. Check tyre condition regularly, and do periodic wheel alignment and balancing. Replace suspension parts early so they do not damage other components.

clean the tank, fuel lines, change engine oil and filters. Changine the spark plugs and connecting leads. Check rubber parts' condition and replace. Check engine mounts. All this takes time but its worth it.
