Toyota has unveiled the Rumion, a badge-engineered version of the Maruti Suzuki Ertiga MPV, in India.
The Rumion shares many similarities with the Ertiga in terms of design, with only a few distinguishing features.
It features a new bumper, fog light surrounds, and a grille similar to the Toyota Innova Hycross.
The Rumion has a 15-inch alloy rims and a slightly raked roof for better aerodynamics.
The rear of the Rumion has a chrome strip and Toyota and Rumion badging as distinguishing features.
It is powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with transmission options including a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic. A CNG variant with a factory-fitted kit is also available.
The interior of the Rumion is similar to the Ertiga, featuring a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, 7-seater configuration, and dual-tone interior color theme.
It comes with various features such as cruise control, push-button start-stop, and Toyota's connected car tech called I-connect.
Safety features include four airbags, electronic stability program, ABS with EBD, and ISOFIX child seat anchors.
