Tata Currv Coupe SUV Makes a Stunning Debut at Bharat Global Mobility Expo 2024

Just before the commencement of Bharat Global Mobility Expo 2024, Tata Motors unveiled the highly-anticipated Tata Currv coupe-style SUV, showcasing its innovative design and powerful powertrain.

Exterior Styling

In terms of the 2024 Tata Currv's exterior styling, Tata Motors has adhered to its latest design philosophy, featuring a modern and sporty front end with a similar LED light bar to the Nexon facelift, along with a split headlight setup with LED headlamps placed on the front bumper.

Exterior Features

Noteworthy exterior features include flush-fitting door handles, flared wheel arches with black cladding, a continuous LED light strip at the rear, and a raked rear windshield with a sloping roofline.

Additionally, the SUV will come equipped with 18-inch wheels, adding to its bold and distinctive look. In terms of dimensions, the Curvv will measure 4,308mm in length, 1,810mm in width, and 1,630mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,560mm and a spacious 422-litre boot space.

Interior Preview

We don't have pictures of the inside of the Tata Currv yet, but people think it might look like the inside of the Nexon small SUV. It could have cool things like a big 10.25-inch screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a fancy screen for the driver, a big sunroof, and seats that can blow cool air.

Advanced Features

Additional features that could be offered with the Currv include a two-spoke steering wheel with an illuminated Tata logo, an air purifier, a wireless charging pad, and a premium audio system.

Additional Features

Other modern features, such as a 360-degree camera, auto-dimming Inside Rear View Mirror (IRVM), and Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), might also be included. Expectations for the Tata Currv also include a single-pane electric sunroof and a range of luxury and convenience features to enhance the overall driving experience.

Powertrain Details

One of the main highlights of the pre-production model is its powertrain details. Tata Motors has revealed that it will come equipped with a 1.5-litre, four-cylinder diesel engine, borrowed from the highly successful Tata Nexon facelift. This engine delivers an impressive 113 bhp and a torque of 260 Nm, coupled with a six-speed manual gearbox.

Launch date

As for the launch date of the Curvv, Tata Motors is expected to officially launch the diesel-powered production model later this year, with the company confirming that an all-electric Curvv is also in the pipeline.
