What is the VW ID.4?

The Volkswagen ID.4 is an electric SUV. It is similar in size to the Tiguan. It is built on the MEB platform. The VW ID.4 is the second vehicle on the MEB platform.

When will the VW ID.4 launch in India?

If Volkswagen's plans work out, 2024 will be when we will see the ID.4. It will be a premium SUV for sure. A mass market electric car from VW is expected by 2026.

Why is this a big deal?

Volkswagen built it brand on petrol and diesel engined cars, performance and build quality. And ID.4 will be the first step that tells us that VW is also joining the electric car bandwagon!

What is the driving range of the VW ID.4 on a full charge?

There are different battery packs, and 2WD and 4WD options. The top end Volkswagen ID.4 can go 515 kilometers on a full charge. The smallest battery pack takes you up to 336 kilometers.
