Used Toyota Land Cruiser: Details
The Land Cruiser in the video is a 2009 7th Generation J200 model which was introduced globally in the year 2007. It was the first Land Cruiser model which was officially launched in India in mid-2009. As explained in the video, the SUV has been converted to the 2nd Facelift model which was launched in India in November 2015, evident by the three-bar front grille with chrome surround.
The video starts with some cinematic shots of the luxury SUV and it looks quite classy as well as rugged, and the overall stance is further enhanced by the black colour. It sports the typical LC squared SUVish styling with a typical chrome 3-bar grille flanked by projector headlamps setup upfront. An after-market body kit has also been installed at the front which houses the LED lights. A set of styling alloy wheels, illuminated footrests and flared wheel arches completes the side profile of the 7-seater SUV. Towards the rear, the presenter highlights the key fob as well as the boot space of the LC.
Inside the cabin, the luxury SUV sports a quite simplistic layout which seems good going by the 2009 standards. Going ahead, the presenter lists out all the details of the SUV. The Land Cruiser is driven 118905 kilometres and it is registered in Meghalaya. The cost of this vehicle is Rs. 49 lakh.
Toyota Land Cruiser LC200 and LC300: Details
As mentioned earlier, the vehicle in the video is a 2009 J200 model. It is powered by a 4.5 litre V8 D-4D turbocharged diesel engine belting out 261 bhp and 650 Nm of peak torque. The engine was mated to a 6-speed automatic transmission. The LC200 was available in two variants, namely VX Standard 1 and VX Premium 2. The former retailed at a price tag of Rs. 81.5 lakh (ex-showroom), while the latter was priced at Rs. 83 lakh (ex-showroom). The used vehicle is the VX Premium 2 variant as it is equipped with a sunroof. The J200 model was later discontinued in January 2020 due to the BS6 norms kicking in.
The latest generation of the Toyota Land Cruiser was globally revealed in July 2021. The LC300 is underpinned by the new TNFA-F platform and comes powered by a 3.3-litre V6 twin-turbo diesel belting out 309 horses and 700 NM of peak torque, mated to a 10-speed automatic transmission. It also gets a 3.5 litre V6 twin-turbo petrol engine, however, its arrival in the country is highly unlikely. Toyota Kirloskar Motors had earlier commenced the bookings of the four-wheeler in August this year and it will most likely be priced in the ballpark of Rs. 2 crore (ex-showroom). The LC300 will make its official debut in India by the first half of 2023 along with price announcement followed by the commencement of deliveries.
