They say, curiosity kills the cat. Well, that’s definitely not applicable to a big cat in a game reserve. Here’s what happened to a group of tourists who went on the proverbial African safari, right into the middle of the Masai Mara grasslands in Kenya. A family of cheetahs, taking fancy to the Toyota Hilux pick up truck that was taking the tourists on the safari, jumped right onto the bonnet and the roof of the vehicle. But that’s only half the story.

There was a feline that was even more enthusiastic. The fully grown cheetah jumped right into the pick up truck, coming to a arm’s length of Irishman Mickey McCaldin. Curiosity sated, the big cat bounded away and went about its business nonchalantly, but not without giving the Irishman’s a few very tense moments, or should that be intense? Here’s how it all panned out.
