Under the zealous brand strategy from Yamaha Motorcycles in India called ‘The Call of the Blue’, the latest iteration of MT-15 has been given a refresh and a few new features. Although the bike in terms of design looks pretty similar to the discontinued model. However, the bike now features an anodised golden colour inverted front fork with 37mm inner tubes, with the lower end (un-sprung) being light and the upper end (sprung) with thick outer tubes bolted to the chassis for higher rigidity. The bike also comes with Yamaha’s proprietary Y-Connect app which connects via Bluetooth and enables the LCD cluster to display calls, e-mails, and SMS Alerts, as well as smartphone battery status. Meanwhile, on the smartphone, the Y-Connect app also provides information on maintenance recommendations, parking location, fuel consumption, malfunctions, revs dashboard, and ranking.
