The Yezdi brand is currently owned by Mahindra-owned Classic Legends, which has already made its presence in the Indian market felt with the Jawa brand. The Yezdi will follow the footsteps of Jawa in making a comeback in the Indian market by having a range of retro-themed motorcycles under its umbrella.
In an official teaser video released by Yezdi motorcycles, we can see a glimpse of a motorcycle with a tall stance, which is being shown with the tagline ‘another resurrection coming soon’. It indicates that the first motorcycle with the Yezdi nameplate will be a dual-purpose adventure tourer with a tall stance. It hints at the 350cc Yezdi Adventure motorcycle which has been spied multiple times going under trial run on the Indian roads.

Yezdi Adventure looks very similar to the Himalayan
The Yezdi Adventure motorcycle has an uncanny resemblance with its direct rival, the Royal Enfield Himalayan, with a basic retro-themed motorcycle having a tall stance. The motorcycle is expected to get the same 334cc engine from the Jawa Perak, which produces a maximum power output of 30.6 PS and a peak torque output of 32.7 Nm. These figures put the Yezdi Adventure as a direct rival to the Himalayan, a motorcycle that makes more or less similar figures from its 411cc engine.
Going by the spy pictures, the new Yezdi Adventure will get 19-inch front and 17-inch rear spoke wheels with off-road spec tyres, long-travel suspension setup with telescopic forks at the front and mono-shock at the rear, LED headlamps, tail lamp and turn indicators, jerry can holders on the frame surrounding the fuel tank and a full LCD instrument console. The motorcycle will also get a transparent front windscreen, split seats, handlebar crash guards, high-mounted front fender, tubular luggage rack at the back and a blacked-out theme for its engine and other cycle parts surrounding it.
Another motorcycle that is speculated to bear the Yezdi nameplate is a scrambler-themed motorcycle, which is rumoured to be called ‘Roadking 350’. The new Yezdi Roadking 350 will have a scrambler-themed design, like the Ducati Scrambler and Triumph Street Scrambler. It also will get a retro-themed design with the same 334cc engine powering it. However, it will be positioned below the Yezdi Adventure and compete with motorcycles like Royal Enfield Classic 350, Jawa 42, Honda H’ness CB350 and Benelli Imperiale.
