Yezdi Scrambler, Adventure and Roadster motorcycles launched in India: Prices start from Rs. 1.98 lakh

Classic Legends has introduced the new-generation Yezdi motorcycles in the Indian market. The brand has announced three all-new motorcycles for the Indian market – Scrambler, Roadster and Adventure motorcycles.

Yezdi Roadster

The Roadster is the most affordable motorcycle of the Yezdi line-up. It comes with a starting price of Rs 1.98 lakh for the smoke grey paint scheme. The most expensive variant is available for Rs 2.06 lakh.

The Roadster is a cruiser style motorcycle with minimal bodywork. It is based on the Jawa 42 and comes powered by the 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that churns a maximum power of 29.7 Bhp at 7,300 rpm and peak torque of 29 Nm at 6,500 rpm.

The Roadster offers a full LED headlamp and tail lamps. There is a circular LCD instrument cluster as well. The Roadster will take on the likes of Royal Enfield Meteor and Honda H’ness CB350

Yezdi Scrambler

The price of the Yezdi Scrambler starts at Rs 2.05 lakh. and goes up to Rs 2.11 lakh depending on the colour. The Scrambler gets a neo-retro design and is designed for soft off-roading. The motorcycle offers a tall beak fender, wire-spoke wheels, upswept twin exhaust canisters, a flowing fuel tank with a chrome lid and an off-set all-digital instrument cluster.

The Scrambler gets a ribbed pattern single-piece seat and the rear number plate is mounted on the tyre-hugger. It also comes with a full LED light set-up, handlebar-mounted USB with type-C charging ports. The motorcycle gets a 19-inch front wheel and 17-inch rear wheels with wire-spoke wheels, single disc brakes on both wheels.

Yezdi powers the Scrambler with the same 334cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor that churns out a maximum power of 28.7 Bhp and peak torque of 28.2 Nm.

Yezdi Adventure

The all-new Yezdi Adventure is the most expensive motorcycle in the line-up. The price starts at Rs 2.10 lakh and goes up to Rs 2.19 lakh. It will compete with the Royal Enfield Himalayan directly and is designed for long-distance touring. The motorcycle offers on/off-road tyres, a tall windscreen, a tall-set front fender, split seats and a single exhaust with high ground clearance. Even the Adventure offers wire-spoke wheels.

The Yezdi Adventure offers a longer list of features compared to the Himalayan. It comes with full-LED lighting set-up, a fully-digital instrument cluster, USB port, Type-C charging port, and saddle-stays as standard. The instrument cluster of the Adventure is also the most sophisticated one and offers Bluetooth connectivity for calls and turn-by-turn navigation with tilt adjustability of the best view.

The Adventure is based on the double-cradle chassis and is suspended on the telescopic front forks and rear mono-shock. There is three-level of ABS available with the Adventure. The same 334cc, liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine produces a maximum power of 29.8 Bhp and peak torque of 29.9 Nm.
