Bollywood Actress Shilpa Shetty Buys A Range Rover Worth Rs. 3.5 Crore [Video]

The love affair that Bollywood and the British luxury SUV maker Range Rover have is very deep. Almost every Bollywood celebrity in India owns or has owned a Range Rover. Now, the most recent celebrity to join the new Range Rover gang is none other than Shilpa Shetty. The actress, along with her sister and mother, was recently seen arriving at the polling booth in her new Range Rover worth Rs 3.5 crore. This is the second Range Rover owned by the actress.

This video showing Shilpa Shetty and her new Range Rover has come courtesy of Viral Bhayani from Instagram. It starts with a shot of the Range Rover coming towards the main gate of the polling station. Following this, Shilpa Shetty is seen exiting the car from the rear right side.

On the other hand, her sister Shamita Shetty was also seen. Shilpa and Shamita were also accompanied by their mother Sunanda Shetty. All of them were then escorted by the officials to the polling booth.

During her encounter with the paparazzi, Shilpa even asked them if they had cast their votes. To this, they replied that they would do it in the evening.

Shilpa Shetty’s New Range Rover

From the video, we can note that the actress has chosen the classy and very popular shade of Santorini Black for her new Range Rover. At the moment, the exact variant opted by Shilpa Shetty is unknown. However, taking note of the alloy wheels, it appears that it could be the Autobiography variant.

The Land Rover Range Rover Autobiography comes with a ton of features as it should. The list includes digital LED headlights with signature DRLs, 22-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, flush-type door handles, and many others.

On the inside, it comes equipped with a 13.1-inch touchscreen Pivi Pro, digital Audio Broadcast (DAB) radio, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, digital instrument gauge cluster, voice control, and head-up display.

As for the features it gets over the HSE variant, they include a Meridian signature sound system and 24-way heated and cooled massage electric front seats. It also gets executive-class rear seats, an Autobiography exterior pack, four-zone climate control, and illuminated metal tread plates with Autobiography script.

Coming to the powertrain side of things, the Autobiography variant comes with four engine options. The first is the 3.0-litre petrol engine that makes 346 bhp and 700 Nm of torque. Then there is the 3.0-litre diesel engine that also makes 346 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.

Then there is the more powerful 4.4-litre petrol engine which makes 523 bhp and 750 Nm of torque. Lastly, there is also an option for the plug-in hybrid engine which gets a 3.0-litre V8 engine with a strong hybrid system. This powertrain makes around 345 bhp and 700 Nm of torque.

Shilpa Shetty’s Used Range Rover

Prior to upgrading to this new Range Rover Autobiography, the actress was gifted a used Range Rover. This gift came courtesy of her husband Raj Kundra. He bought her a previous generation Range Rover long wheelbase from the popular used luxury car dealer Big Boy Toyz. At the time when it was new, it had a price tag of Rs 1.8 crore.

Shilpa Shetty Also Owns a Used Bentley

Shilpa Shetty also recently bought herself a used Bentley Flying Spur. This car was bought by her from a Telangana-based legal services company. Its actual color is white; however, the actress has since wrapped it in a bright chrome color.
