MS Dhoni Rides Yamaha RD350 After IPL Loss [Video]

MS Dhoni is a cricketer known for his performance on the ground and his love for bikes. Dhoni has retired from the T20 and ODI formats of the game, but he continues to lead the Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the IPL. There are reports that Mahi, or “Thala” as CSK fans like to call him, might retire after this year’s IPL season. However, Dhoni has not confirmed any of these rumors. This year has not been great for CSK, as they could not qualify for the playoffs. After the loss against Royal Challengers Bangalore, MS Dhoni was recently spotted outside his house in Ranchi on a Yamaha RD350.

The video was shared by one of his fans on their X profile. In this video, we see Mahendra Singh Dhoni exiting the road on his Yamaha RD350 motorcycle. As usual, he is wearing a riding helmet and pants for his protection. Dhoni rides slowly, gets off the tarmac, looks for traffic on the pocket road, and rides into his mansion.

MS Dhoni, as we all know, is an avid biker and loves to collect vintage and classic bikes. He loves classic motorcycles so much that he has built a glass house inside his residence where he keeps his bikes on display. We have come across several videos that give us a glimpse of the bike and car collection that Dhoni owns.

This time, he was spotted on a blue-colored Yamaha RD350 motorcycle. It looks like we have not seen this motorcycle yet. It is one of the many RD350s that he owns. He is such a big fan of RX100s and RD350 motorcycles that he has bought several RD350s in the past. Some of them are custom-built projects, while others are ones that he works on.

The Yamaha RD350 seen in the video has drum brakes at the front and rear. The motorcycle is powered by a 350cc twin-cylinder two-stroke engine that produces approximately 28 Bhp in the Low Torque variant and 31 Bhp in the High Torque version. We are not sure which version of this motorcycle is seen in the video.

He also owns a Yamaha RD 350 LC that has been restored and customized by Chandigarh-based Blue Smoke Customs. The motorcycle was never officially launched in India, and many bikers imported it privately.

It is powered by the same two-stroke, parallel-twin, 347cc engine as the regular RD 350, which here makes 49 Bhp of maximum power. Compared to the air-cooled engine in the RD 350, the RD 350 LC’s engine received liquid cooling to meet stricter emission regulations.

Other than the RD350, MS Dhoni also owns a Suzuki Shogun and vintage bikes from Norton, Jawa, and BSA. He also owns superbikes like the Kawasaki Ninja H2, Kawasaki Ninja ZX-14R, Harley Davidson Fat Boy, and the ultra-rare Confederate X132 Hellcat.

Besides bikes, Dhoni has a collection of classic and vintage cars and SUVs. He owns a resto-modded Nissan 1 ton, Rolls Royce Silver Wraith II, Pontiac Firebird Trans Am, and a 1970 model Ford Mustang in his garage.
