Tata Nano beautifully converted into a vintage car [Video]

Tata Nano was once launched in Indian market with an aim to make the dream of many to own a car true. Due to several problems, the car could not achieve it and Tata had to actually discontinue the vehicle. It was the most affordable or cheapest car in the world. When the car was available for sale, Tata launched several variants of the small hatchback. Although Tata has officially discontinued Nano from the market, several examples of this hatchback can still be seen on our roads. There are some modified examples as well. Here we have a video where a Tata Nano has been modified or rather converted into a vintage car.

The video has been uploaded by The garage life motor on their YouTube channel. The video simply  shows how the modifies Tata Nano looks both from outside and inside. First things first, the car has been completely remodelled or modified and it does not look like a Nano anymore. The whole design of the car has been inspired from a vintage car. Video does not mention whether the body was bought or is it a handmade unit.

The modified Tata Nano has a very retro looking design like any other car of that era. It has a wave like design to the front fenders which have the tall and slim steel rims in it. The bonnet is long and the front grille is a set of oval shaped units. The front bumper on this car has been custom made and is made of metal. It has a pair of auxiliary lamps installed on it and the horn is placed between those lights. Turn indicators are also placed on the bumper

The headlights of this modified Nano are placed on the fenders like many other vintage cars. There are vents on both sides of the bonnet to circulate air inside the engine bay to keep the temperature down. The bonnet ends and there is an upright looking windshield. It is split which was a common thing in cars of that time. The car got suicide doors to maintain the retro look and feel.

Tata Nano as we all know is a very small car but, this vintage version of the same looks long and that makes us think that the people working behind this car would have increased the wheelbase of the car to achieve the desired look and proportion. The rear of the car gets a curvy or wavy design which looks quite good on it. Originally Tata Nano was a rear-engine rear-wheel drive car and we are not sure whether the person behind this creation has made any changes to that or not.

Just like at the front, there is a metal bumper at the rear and the fenders get tail lamp and turn indicators installed on it. Moving in, it is an open top vehicle and the whole car has Blue and white dual tone theme. The interiors are all finished in Blue. The seats get Blue upholstery. The dashboard is finished in Blue and so on. The only thing will remind you that it is not an vintage car is the instrument cluster. It has been carried forward from the Tata Nano which the car is actually based on. Overall, the work done on this car looks extremely good and unique.
