The 85-year-old personality needs no introduction. He was the driving force behind Tata’s entry into the passenger vehicle segment. As the former chairman of Tata Sons, he boasts an extensive car collection, featuring a Nexon diesel SUV renowned for its safety features. He also possesses an Indigo Marina, which he uses for traveling with his dogs. Adding to his collection, Ratan Tata was gifted a custom-made Tata Nano EV.

Kim Sharma

Kim Sharma created a buzz when several pictures emerged online showing her driving a Tata Nano for her gym and grocery trips. The Tata Nano, once hailed as the most affordable car in the Indian market, is not usually associated with celebrity vehicle choices. Kim Sharma’s unconventional decision surprised many and attracted widespread attention.

Fatima Sana Shaikh

The Bollywood actress rose to fame after her movie “Dangal” and has become a prominent figure promoting the Tata Harrier SUV. Not only does she endorse the vehicle, but she also owns a Tata Harrier Dark Edition. She owns the pre-facelifted version. The SUV is equipped with a 2.0-liter turbocharged diesel engine that produces 170 PS and 350 Nm of peak torque. It is available with both manual and automatic transmission options.

Mandira Bedi

In 2020, the popular TV actress and host Mandira Bedi purchased a Nexon EV, making her one of the first celebrities in the country to do so. She chose the XZ+ trim, which offers a range of 312 kilometers and delivers 129 PS and 245 Nm of torque.

Another popular personality who bought a Tata Nexon EV is Dr. Shriram Nene, the husband of popular actress Madhuri Dixit. The couple owns several expensive and exotic cars. Shriram Nene bought a pre-facelift Nexon EV Dark Edition SUV. The price for the Nexon EV back then started at Rs 14.54 lakh, ex-showroom, and went up to Rs 16.29 lakh, ex-showroom.

N Chandrasekaran

The debut of the Nexon EV caught the attention of N. Chandrasekaran, the Chairman of Tata Sons & Tata Motors, who promptly bought one for himself. In 2022, Tata Motors reached a momentous milestone by producing the 50,000th unit of their EVs from the factory. To mark this special occasion, N. Chandrasekaran decided to acquire another Nexon EV. He opted for the Nexon EV Prime model, which boasts additional features such as multi-mode regen and cruise control.

Anil Kapoor

The actor was gifted a Tata Safari Storme by Tata Motors. Compared to the older Safari, the Safari Storme was a much more rugged-looking large Indian SUV offered at an affordable price. It drew power from a 2.2-liter Varicor Turbocharged diesel engine that generated 148 Bhp and 320 Nm of peak torque. It was available with both 2WD and 4×4 versions.

Jay Leno

Jay Leno, the popular American TV host, comedian, writer, and actor, is well-known for his passion for automobiles. His extensive garage houses a collection of classic, vintage, and exotic cars. In 2012, Jay Leno purchased a Tata Nano, showcasing his eclectic taste in vehicles. He even shared a picture of himself standing next to the Nano, dressed in a Sherwani, further emphasizing his fondness for the unique car.

Television actress Ulka also bought a brand new pre-facelift Nexon EV for herself on her birthday. She bought the SUV in Teal Blue shade.

Tata launched the facelifted version of Harrier and Safari last year. Earlier this year, billionaire stockbroker Motilal Oswal shared a picture of himself with a Tata Safari SUV. He bought this made-in-India SUV because he was pursuing minimalistic and simple living and he has stopped buying cars from foreign brands.
