From the recently leaked renders, it can be noted that the upcoming CB350 Scrambler draws inspiration from the iconic scrambler design. It will feature a number of classic elements like a round headlamp, teardrop-shaped fuel tank, and an upswept exhaust. The patent images reveal a rugged yet stylish motorcycle with a 2-piece seat and a short tail section.

Underneath its vintage-inspired design, the CB350 Scrambler is expected to house Honda’s time-tested 349cc single-cylinder engine. This motor will deliver a maximum power of 21 bhp and 30 Nm of torque. As for the gearbox, it will come coupled with a 5-speed gearbox and assist and slipper clutch. Additionally, the company, in an attempt to lure in buyers, will offer the Scrambler with capable suspension, featuring a telescopic fork at the front with rubber gaiters for added protection and dual rear shock absorbers as well.

While specifics on engine tuning are yet to be confirmed, this new and upcoming motorcycle will also most likely retain the same 350cc powerplant as its siblings. However, it is believed that it will come with adjusted gear ratios to suit its adventurous nature. Expected features of this new Adventure bike include modern amenities such as dual-channel ABS, ride modes, Bluetooth connectivity, all-LED lighting, and a digital instrument console.

Filling the Gap in the Entry-Level ADV Segment

Honda To Launch Scrambler and Adventure Bikes Based On CB350 Platform: Details

As it stands, the entry-level adventure motorcycle segment in India has seen significant growth in recent years. The increasing demand from riders seeking capable yet accessible options for their off-road adventures has led Honda to make an early move into the segment. What will be another advantage for Honda is the discontinuation of the first-generation Himalayan. Currently, there is a noticeable gap waiting to be filled by a worthy contender such as the Honda Adventure CB350. Built on the proven CB350 platform, this upcoming adventure bike can most certainly fulfill the needs of entry-level ADV for motoring enthusiasts in the country.
